It is my dream that every school in the region will teach about native plants and their integral support of the web of life in Cascadia. It is my goal to facilitate the study of ethnobotany, plant ecology, permaculture and the interconnection of all life within our bioregion.
I envision a series of free schools set up throughout the biome that promote the free discussion and study of the importance of native plants and plant ecology. These programs of studies will include hikes into native forests, deserts, high mountains and other botanically rich areas of Cascadia. It is my hope that living classrooms will be set up in each community so that knowledge of plants can be kept alive.
I envision finding local plant teachers to provide knowledge that has been lost to us over the last 100 years.
